EASL Congress 2026

At the EASL Congress 2026 in Barcelona, LEOPARD Project Coordinator Christophe Duvoux participated in a session co-hosted by the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), focusing on the future of personalised immunosuppression in liver transplantation. He opened the session by exploring the shift from empirical to individualised approaches to immunosuppression, alongside presentations on tolerance and rejection mapping through single-cell and spatial immunomics, and adapting immunosuppression strategies to the era of transplant oncology.

The session highlighted the importance of international collaboration and knowledge exchange in advancing innovation and improving outcomes for liver transplant patients, values that closely align with LEOPARD’s ambition to support more personalised, data-driven approaches to liver transplantation across Europe.
